I grew up immersed in every aspect of residential real estate being the daughter of a successful real estate business owner and broker in Northern Michigan. There was never a doubt that one day I would work in the industry, but before I settled down I had some traveling and other passions to explore.
After high school I attended Grand Valley State University where I earned a degree in business management. After college I decided to take my passion for cooking to another level and earned a culinary degree at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu's Western Culinary Institute in Portland Oregon. After becoming a chef I would spend some time traveling and cooking all along the west coast. Although I flourished in the culinary scene out there, it wasn't home. I decided to move back to Michigan to open up my own restaurant in beautiful Frankfort, MI. This experience was invaluable in teaching me the fundamentals of opening, running and managing a successful business. My success in the restaurant business encouraged me to expand my entrepreneurial portfolio and I started purchasing and selling my own commercial real-estate as well as foreclosed properties for investment purposes.
